a note from the builder:

Cycling and making things have been lifelong passions for me. They’ve fueled my journey of skills building and personal growth — through rides, races, classes, apprenticeships, and professional positions.

Based on a lifetime of riding, and over a decade of building frames with some of the best brands in the industry, I founded Orchard Bicycle in 2023.

With Orchard Bicycle, I focus on vintage inspired MTBs, ATBs, klunkers, cruisers, and category-blending customs. Think puffy tires, rim brakes, sometimes coaster brakes, racks, dynamo lighting, cable actuated shifting.

Every frame or frame-set is designed and built by me, fillet-brazed to order in Grand Junction, CO. Complete bikes are available too.

I like to give attention to detail and the big picture. This means taking time for soft skills, like clear and open communication, as well as well as the hands-on skills of frame-building. This means combining quality materials with time-proven techniques, mindful consideration of environmental impact, and selecting components from like-minded industry partners.

Most importantly, this means every customer gets a bike that’s fun to ride, easy to service, nice to look at, and something we can both be proud of.
